Made Handmade Paper with Flowers - July
Registration is closed for July - But there are still spots available for August > https://www.mindypaper.com/store/p148/flowerpaperclassaugust.html#/
Celebrate ripe blueberries and summer flowers with Mindy as she makes paper from recycled materials and flower petals.
Tuesday, July 18th / Sessions start at 10am Ages 3+
Cider Hill Farm, 45 Fern Ave, Amesbury, MA 01913
$5 per child / $10 family*
(*Please note participant names at purchase.)
Visit Cider Hill Farm and create recycled paper! The paper is made by blending old newsprint and junk mail to create new paper pulp. Participants add summer flowers (collected and dried from the Cider Hill Farm Summer Garden) to the pulp and press them into paper shapes. The paper can be used for notes or gift tags, even a lovely seasonal decoration.
Event will be at the tented area in the Upper Courtyard at the front of the Farm store, rain or shine.
There was such overwhelming enthusiasm for the first workshop, that I have broken this one into two 30-minute sessions to allow for more individual attention and discussion about the paper-making process.
Before or after the class, visit Cider Hill Farm summer garden to cut-your-own flowers to make more paper at home.
Join her as she recycles old used paper into fun new shapes.
We'll mix in flower petals from the Farm for a summer touch.

At this workshop, you will help pour the pulp into the forms and press the new paper with sponges before taking the wet sheets home to dry.
